I have been fascinated with letters that I can't read since I am a little girl. For the theoretical part of my Diploma I researched non Latin typography, as I have noticed that many designers just paste in japanese, hebrew or any other writing system for lack of knowledge or patience and I want to do better in my own practice. Every writing system in the world has the potential to display as much typographical finesse as latin letters, so I wanted to explore the topic. I prepared a little brochure about what to look out for when working with foreign script that I handed in on exam day.
